A long overdue update

I know I have been extremely lazy and bad at providing updates but I thought I should give an update on the build.  We have had handover end last year and we're currently sorting our landscaping.
Here are some photos since my last update. Yet again featuring Mochi, our site dogager!

I think we've had some movement on our land!

I'm hopeless in uploading updates to here.  This is from when we last checked, probably around last week?  Will probably visit again this weekend xD

You probably can't see from the photos, but I'm pretty sure that our land got a little bit of movement with some cut and fill.  Our lot unfortunately has a downhill fall, hence why we decided against building a giant house that would be far too big for us to live there.  Hopefully our driveway will stay at around this slope.  Currently thinking if we'll want to put some steps in during landscaping...

We have a Portaloo!!!

So excited!!!  Passed by our old house and saw this Portaloo there!  The fence guys were just leaving as we arrived.

As we drove to leave, we saw a Rawson car drive up the road. Wonder if they were there to add the Rawson banner on the fences?

Just an update

The demolition actually took awhile longer than I expected or thought it would.  Took around a month to demolish the house.

Thankfully, majority of the rubbish was removed prior to Christmas when we went to check on the old house with our dog, Mochi.  Managed to take a cute photo of him gazing at all the rubble.  Or maybe he was just wondering why we took such a large detour from the vets to our rented unit.

When we went back during the holidays, it's alot cleaner than the photos that I took before as believe they filled in our old pool.

Anyways, looking forward to seeing Rawson's fencing and the portaloo.  Fingers crossed that it'll be soon!!

Still can't believe it's real

Still can't believe we're really doing this. Sometimes it feels like this must be a dream.

We went past our old house the other day and spotted that they've started doing the demolition work now!

The most amazing thing is down our street, we noticed our neighbour is also building... And they're building through Rawson too!! And the same site manager :o

Where are we at?

Our family and our dog Mochi, are starting in the journey of doing a knock-down rebuild with Rawson Homes to build a Seaview 27.  At this stage, all selections have been chosen (will elaborate on that a little later) and our case has been passed to our site manager.

Currently we're waiting for the existing house to be demolished and have never been more excited for the prospect of seeing a flattened lot.

Here's a photo of Mochi's last day playing in 'his' backyard. We've now moved to a unit during the knockdown/rebuild time so no more crazy play in the backyard until the new house is built and the landscaping in sorted.
